Yes, This really sucks - it now appears it would be easier for me to have Oriental, or Eastern Bloc-European pussy mailed to me, yes ordered on line and delivered (actual human beings - delivered) than it would be to get a single friggin bottle of Wine, delivered from Ontario. WTF is up with that? I guess, if I needed the girls, it would be the oppposite - almost positve of this fact at this point in my life.

"I...state your name for the record...do solemly swear to update my blog more often then once a month, to pick up any cheese that falls on the floor and not to fart when there's pretty girls around. So help me blog!"
Hey, things look to be shaping up (found my dark side disk), taking alot less calls at work due to the change in dept.s, which means alot less stress for me, (though no extra money) and should be leading to nearly no calls at all. Looking at buying a home pretty soon too, and as long as I can still live in the basement of the new place and have my own bedroom, I'll be happy.
Maybe it's the lack of snow that brings the mood swings to greater and greater highs and not quite nearly as devestating depths of despair. Somewhere in the back of my mind, though, I know winter is only 6 months away and I'll soon be sitting there, tying up the old hikers, pullin up the ol' hood and glovin it up to go out and shovel through a blinding wall of virginal precip. Am I a glass is half empty, or glass is half full type of guy? I really don't know. I guess it depends upon whats in the glass. I'm @ the top the curve for now anyway. woohooo.
Here's a tasty tidbit:
I've been in this guys situation before. There was a different outcome of course, though I don't think what happened with these drunken Russians is off da crazy scope for a pair of drunken Capers at all. And the not-at-all-vailed threat of reprisal. Seen it. Most of my old friends don't like to involve the "authorities" either.
Teen Life in Canadugh, eh. Aboot twinty years agoo, eh. Should have bin called There's Sometin Aboot Caitlin, Eh! Gotta luv D'grassy, Ol' School!
This is pretty disturbing, I really don't want to believe it's true but the web site is so professionally done, it seems like a lot of trouble to go through to get thier point across. Wait, didn't these people (or a few hand drawn facsimiles) murder a doctor a few years back, simply to prove a point? Hmmmmm, can't remember - too lazy to reseach, sooo.....yes, yes they did!
Check the pic:
Dosent seem like much after that last one.
And then things like this happen to make ya go...Hmmm...maybe the koreas shouldn't be eating spaniels.
I need sleep, and money, but I'll have to settle for sleep for now.
Skinnylickin and lovin it!!

Did he go too far or not far enough??
So if you check this out or watch the late night news from the states you get this 911 operator being reprimanded for make a snide remark to a caller, who happens to be a (so called) mother who could not break up a fight between her 2 daughters, one was 12 the other was 14!!! Come on!! Click here to listen to the call.
What is she doing calling 911 for this anyway?
Sure the operator probably could have handled it better and wasn't right to say ""OK. Do you want us to come over to shoot her?" and maybe it's just my call center sympathy kicking in for another phone monkey trying to do a job while being bludgeoned with stupidity on a semi-regular basis.
---(Well lets all hope it's NOT on a regular basis that people call 911 with such mundane issues as not being able to control thier preteen children, and (in my opinion) leading to this supposedly outrageous wise crack. Would he have been making jokes if she was crying and reporting a home invasion or a rape or a murder? I don't think so. I mean you can almost hear her head tilting from side to side as she says - well,.. I just got home from work and they were fighting...- just like all kids do some more than others but again..come on!)----
I think this fella actually thought it was a joke. He probably had a mother (like I did) who could kick all the kids butts in the neighbourhood, even throw in a neighbour or two - maybe even a husband if necessary. She had no right to be dialing 911 for this! At that time she should have been calling thier father, or had them trained well enough that the mere mention of doing so would straighten thier behavior out. Spare the rod and spoil the child? Hmmm?
I personally think Mr. Forbess SHOULD have said "Ok, Do you want us to send over a real mother?" Really though.

I know it seems like I have a serious hate on for Americans and I really don't hate anybody- ever. It's just not me. I do however have a serious problem thier government having thier hand in everybody's cookie jar and just don't want my country to become anymore a part of that than we already are. And of course whenever I read something which disturbs me I can't get it outta my head and have to lay it out here. I still think that fuckin squirrel has to go back to the states though.

what's next?
And what the hell is this - illegally imported squirels, with no papers just allowed to stay in Canada, almost as if it were a political refugee or something, and the government is going to grab the $30,000 legal bill for the guy who owns it. What's next? Certainly no farm animals will be crossing the border anytime soon, but this could open the flood gates for God only knows what kind of influx of animals.
We don't need any more American skunks or snakes in Canada thats for sure, (though I'm also sure they would have no objection to more Canadian beaver crossing the border) it's bad enough there's a motion to increase the Canadian-US-Mexican relationship (the predicted outcome of NAFTA) to the point where it's being compared to one continental country with one big border which would eventually lump us, as Canadians, in with the Americans and everything they do. Is this the image we want to portray to the world at large? I think not!!
As it is, one of my friends lived in Oman for a year and no matter what he told the locals they still referred to him as an "American" because he was from Canada - which is in NORTH America. Shitty huh? Yes, Yes it is. Cause they were on the verge of car bombing him cause he was white and from Canada - it seems resembling an American may soon be a crime in some parts of the world and I really don't think we should be escalating anything with these people. Sell them our gas and oil, our hydroelectricity, soft and hard wood, grain, wheat, fish, coal, along with our beauty and brains, and let them pretend to be from Canada when they travel abroad in Europe and other places, but don't make us one big country to share the blame for all thier atrocities, covert or otherwise.
That may not be right, and they may not (I said "may not") be right to want to kill all american imperialist scum, most are guilty only of the crime of wanton ignorance and willing self-centerment(refusing to admit they are not the center of the world) - but lumping all of Canada or Mexico in with Middle North America for the purposes of trade and "homeland security" issues is pretty fuckin stupid to me.
THEREFORE....THE SQUIREL MUST GO!!!!

addiction - the sad truth
Addiction is such a shameful thing, families hide it from friends and neighbours, there is "anonymous" help for those who cannot bear to admit openly of thier addictions, and the slag rags love to expose celebrity addictions (and we apparently love to read about it), but nearly everybody I know has an addiction of some kind, drugs, alcohol, smoking, sex, food, - and I'm no different.
It seems I'm currently addicted to 007 on the gamecube. I admit openly to my embarrassing situation and don't really care what you may think of me for being an addict. Screw you!
You would be addicted too, - the lights and the smooth game play, the lights and the sprawling storyline, the lights and driving the austin martin, the lights and the incredible graphics, the lights and the unique player environments and the lights and the flashing colours. How could you not fall for such an easily accessable game, less than twenty dollars for each disk, and there's more of them out there too, and I shall have them as well.
I openly admit to my addiction. And you can look down your nose with pious contempt, but I know the truth and that is you've got a skeleton or two in your closet somewhere or some kind of an addiction you're hiding, everybody does. Be it smoking in front of your computer with the windows wide open, or getting twelve year old cancer patients drunk and molesting them. And guess what. They can't possibly be as much fun as 007. Oohhhh, the lights, the lights.

dotCom
DotCom
Got hired today for the DotCom dept at work - so along with selling panties and frilly bras and oogling swimsuit models all day long , I will be providing some type of internet support for those women whose computers just do not want to order the spandex ass support slimming panty in 28ww. I can help them with that! woohhoo!Went out and had two or three mugs of draught last night, then two beer at home and one at the girlfriends and woke up today with a headache fit for I don't even know what. And I don't know why, I never used to get hungover or head aches or sick and I was told after you quit smoking you never would get a morning after headache again, but it seems like everytime I have a beer or two I need the Advil. It's not fair.
Been looking at buying a house lately as well, but don't know where, or what - small starter home, larger fixer upper, country, city, rental property - my head is spinning. Got writers cramp trying to write down all the attractive places on the "real estate channel". $12,000 for half a companyhouse with a garage and decent sized front and back yard. Want's the catch? Are the neighbours psychos or what? And if so, why not buy it and rent it out? Too many of those situations on that channel - why are they so cheap? Then there's the $100,000 homes in the dumpy neighbourhoods, as if there was gold or oil in the ground. Anyway - I won't be having much of a say in where we go, neither will she if thats what your thinking, the bank is going to have the most control over that. Hmmmm, maybe it'll be the Credit Union. We'll see.
Gotta go
Stay Skinny

Is it just me or.......no, I think it's just me. I work in a call center where the management turnover surpasses the employee turnover - somethings wrong there - just not sure what yet, but it opens up all sorts of new job opertunities for the little guy (and gal) in there. But they take one llok at the speling mastakes in my rusume and I'm knot in a chance there.
Been six weeks off the butts now, and just starting to cough up brown stuff. Like WOW eh? That long. But there's money in my account and I'm feeling healthier, and there dosent appear to be a problem being around smokers while drinking either so I think this one will stick! yaeh!!
Theres quite the snow pile out in the yard right now, and plenty more coming down with some high winds so it looks like I'll be out shovelling tommorrow sometime, for a little bit anyway. I just love going to bed knowing what tommorrow holds in store. Feeling like a precog, back is burning already.
Time to hit the fartsack.

nother new
Well, I 'm trying this google Adsense program on for size and it really dosent look to intrussive up there does it. Color matches and it stays up there out of the way. I kinda like it - almost makes the page look a little more professional, and it really does need that, indeed it does. But it means I actually have to do updates a bit more often.
<>-- things I've learned in Customer Service (part 1) --<>
I know it's your $1.95 and if I was you I would want it credited back to my account too, but not if I have to wait 25 minutes in a queue, listening to hold music for it. My time is worth more than that. Some people apparently will do this for one single solitary shiny nickle to be placed back on thier credit card. A NICKLE!!! Hey it's thier time and money though it is my nerves. Don't know how long I can do this for.
The Oscars seemed to be a bit contrived I thought. Everything nominated won something sometime during the evening I think. The age of the runaway blockbuster has come to a close. Pete Jackson, please hurry with King Kong. We need you for next years show.

Hair dryer anyone?
Looks like there's as many friggin hair dryers as there is toothbrushes out there on the market. Well so I've been told. Porcelin elements, ionizing properties, super blow(? sounds good, but it's not like that really), cold wind, 6 speeds...yada, yada, yada. Well, she went on and on about them, but at least I wasn't there to experience it first hand, and it should last a lot longer than an oral b, so I shouldn't have to hear about it again for a long time. She could possibly be dead before she needs another hair dryer, right? Right!??!!

Some change in the weather since last post. God almighty, what a snow storm. What a rain storm after it. What a snow storm to follow the rain storm. Seems there are no seasons anymore.
Even with only one third of the staff at work today we were slow, slow, slow. Must be due to the holiday in the U.S. , though in my experience that usually drives call volume. Oh well, more time to look at the screen and say, "damn I wish I could get access to the web."
Was so blitzed Saturday night, they painted me up with mascara and other pretty things. Man, I was cute. Got it all off for work the next day but about half-way through the day the hangover started kicking in and man I thought my head was gonna explode. They say live and learn but for some reason I never seem to get it. Twelve beer in two hours makes Skinny a funny guy.
Happy Martin Luther King Day! See ya in Selma.

Can you believe the weather? Horray for global warming!!
Jan.14th and +11C outside. Awsome! I ate lunch outside on Xmas eve in the 10 degree weather and now the snow is meltin and the warm winds of a messed up global environment are blowing on through. Two years ago I had frost-bite at this time of the year in the -50C with the windchill, this is just an incredibly unexpected turn of events. If the sun had come out today it probably would have hit 20C. Beach weather!!
Work is busier than it has ever been, where do Americans get that kinda money after Xmas, $1800 worth the clothes? Maybe send some to the Tsunami relief fund and go without that sequined chiffon blouse for another coupla weeks darlin.
What did microsoft do to IE this time? Friggin thing freezes cold like the girlfriends heart when I try to go to hotmail. Seems they want MSN Messenger open at the time and I don't want that to happen. Moved on to firefox because of it. Much easier to deal with, over 17 million downloads since nov. 9th, takes some tweakin and some add-on installation but than it works like a charm. Check it out here -

Breathe skinnyman, breathe.
She says she wants to discuss the movie, mainly it's flaws I think to myself and I am right as rain.
I enjoyed it, says I. Why tear down this evenings outing in some pale attempt at one upping a Hollywood director? Which I didn't say.
Why can't we look for holes in the plot and character and logic misappropriations, says she.
Cause you just want someone to agree with what you are thinking is all, and apparently thats what her sister is for.
We haven't argued about a movie in so long says she, why not tonight.
Hmmmm, because the last time we discussed a cinematic encounter, starting said conversation before stepping off the curb into the parking lot of the theatre, we ended up in a shouting match 45 minutes later cumulating in my storming out of your house and going home without watching CSi, I think.
Cause I just want to enjoy the movie going experience and watch some T.V tonight, I say.
Not good enough though.
Every comment I make during the evenings television viewing - even as minor as "look at that painting on the wall behind her"- results in epitaths such as "don't rip it apart" and "why over- analys it?"
So I didn't get to relax and watch CSi after all. But I did finally get to watch it. She swears she won't go to the theatre with me any more. And thats just fine. There's a new Matthew Maconnegh (spelling??) movie coming out soon and she can wait for the friggen DVD.

Why are there so many choices of tooth brush out there? Ok, different colors and sizes sure, but can't the ADA just choose a design that is actually THE best? The only toothbrush the human race will ever need? Why must my girlfriend be forced to spend 45 minutes in the toothbrush aisle at Walmart to chose between so many of nearly the same product? Figure out which bristle array and head shape combination is the best and be done with it. Please!

merry boxing day
Time for another kick at the blogger cat. Merry Christmas to all, though I really think Sheldon's the only person who reads this thing on any regular basis - so Merry Christmas Sheldon! LOL Learn that song - it's easy once ya get the wrist thing going properly.
Had a ball at Shawn and Trina's Christmas day bash, brought the guitars and harmonicas and got right loaded up, didn't get home until like 5 am, and had work at 11:30 - bummer - but got there OK. Sat through a coupla hours of waiting 25 minutes for a 2 minute phone call - cause OPS is in another country and they wouldn't send us home but what the hell. Frees up more time this week for leaving early I guess. Worked Xmas eve right til the end of the shift, turns out the operation in Manilla is 12 hours ahead of us and was closed for Xmas so we got all the calls from the people who wanted to order underwear on Xmas eve, yes underwear on Xmas eve. Or "where's the credit for my return?" Some people need to get a life I think. At least with tech support people got away from their puters for the most part on special holidays and gave most people a break when they were stuck at work.
Thats my boring life, in a nutshell - for now - til I hit the super 7 jackpot anyway

Talking to Americans on the phone, the racism against the middle eastern peoples is rampant - one women said "our building is full of THEM" - and I guess if they are uneducated or brainwashed to the point of inability to make a sane decision on thier own, then it would be understandable. But most of the people I talk to are quite articulate and some even speak as if they come from breeding families. I don't understand how they can be so blind, hurt I can see, but blind is another story altogether.
1182 is the body count for dead americans in Iraq since George W declared "mission accomplished".
1319 is the total in Iraq since Mar.19 / 03. Do the math. Six times the causulties after the war.
Try the Dooley's yet? Get yourself to the LC and grab some of that for the holiday cheer. A carmel/toffee liquer made specifically for shooting or sipping out of a coffee mug or mixing into your morning coffee or licking it off a loved ones inner thigh. But not for lighting on fire (no flaming dooley's) and not for mixing with anything (it might just make a nice paralyzer or white russian but....naaaa) Drink this sucker straight outta the jar or shot glasses - which provided in the gift set by the way are ROUND bottomed - intensifying the whole experience as the shot glasses resemble a weeble, and rocks back and forth when they are inevitably dropped to the table at some point during the evening (or morning - whatever) festivities. Good stuff, drink lots. And I don't own a single share in the company.
1182 is the body count for dead americans in Iraq since George W declared "mission accomplished".
1319 is the total in Iraq since Mar.19 / 03. Do the math. Six times the causulties after the war.

20/20
got contacts, no glasses no more. Takes some gettin used to though. Crying like a little girl when i put them in, but it's better/wierder/clearer than before. gotta remember to wash my hands before puttin them in, especially as a smoker - got that nicotene going in the eye ball and it hurts like hell, thus the aforementioned crying like a little girl. Gotta quit smoking, really though, if thats what happens from just a finger tip of the chems, what is it doing to everything else inside, well at least I won't leave a four-eyed corpse!
